Use of Tefen's proportional pumps as fertilizer injectors in agriculture.
It is commonly thought that TF injectors are proportional fertilizer injectors, mainly suitable for detached beds in hothouses or agricultural sections in which the method of fertilization used is quantities proportional to the irrigation flow rate. The aim of this article is to present injectors of the TF type.These are injectors that are not only proportional injectors.
They are used as fertilizer injectors that can achieve a injectoring flow rate of up to 1250 liter/hour, a very high flow rate for injectors of this kind. They operate with minimum pressure losses of up to 1.5 bar, if a TF 25 5% injector is used at maximum flow rate. The flow rate of the injectors against low pressure losses can be seen in the following diagrams. Injectors of the TF type are suitable for sections in which importance is attached to large quantities of fertilizer during irrigation or in places in which the irrigation times are limited and the quantities of water and fertilizer are large, up to a flow rate of 1250 liter/hour.

The majority of organic fertilizer is delivered in powder form. In order to inject the fertilizer into the irrigation system, it has to be diluted in water. For this reason it is difficult if not impossible to arrive at a high density of fertilizer within the injection tanks. The MixRite injectors are capable of injecting fertilizer at levels of up to 5% of the total quantity of water in the tank, a feature which allows the TF-25 to be especially suitable in the handling of organic fertilizers.The advantages of the MixRite TF-25 injector: Based on a stand alone design that does not require constant attention. Simple to set, and exact to a scale of up to 25 grams per cubic meter. MixRite injectors do not require batteries or electric power to operate them.
